For the museum Kunstpaviljoen, near Groningen, Kate Hume designed and curated the exhibition 'Art Huis'… a striking combination of Dutch art and design of the last 50 years. Juxtaposing the cutting edge and the quirky with comfortable classic pieces, the brief - 'Living with Art' - was to create a modern farmhouse for a collector. Using the Dutch national colours of red, white and blue, the space offers a new take on country living in the Netherlands. |
