The new HEIJDEN HUME signature collection is the creation of Kate and designer Frans van der Heijden who have been collaborating since the early 90’s. Frans’s pure, considered furniture is a perfect compliment to the rich, textured world of Kate’s interiors. Hand crafted in the Netherlands each innovative and original piece exudes a dash of luxurious modernity. Widely celebrated in the press, yet originally tailor made for individual clients, the collection is now available to a wider market. Heijden Hume also produce a standard line of furniture and lighting, including Frans’s original designs for Birdman Furniture.
The KATE HUME GLASS collection of one of a kind free blown glass vessels has attracted an international following since its inception in 1998. The art glass pieces have been widely exhibited and are often the finishing touch in her interior projects.
Both Heijden Hume and Kate Hume glass collections are available through the Kate Hume showroom in Amsterdam, and selected dealers internationally.
